Great Things To Do For The Holiday SeasonI just received a journal from Lily-L-Bell talking about a great way to show you care in the holiday season. Here is what it said:
I got a PM from a pal today about this project she heard about. It's for the "Children’s Hospital of Orange County".(CHOC, get it?) They're one of the premier children's hospitals in the country. SH-WOW!
Anyway I signed up for this project too, and the spear header is a person by the name of *IMAGINeye and you can find out more about it and how to sign up at his journal:

But what is this project about? Well. This project involves making art (What ever your artistic medium is, art or writing is what's being looked for) for the children at the hospital for the holiday season. I do recommend visiting IMAGINeye's journal and reading the specifics though. So you know how to sign up and exactly what they are looking for.
The thing is, it's not a sure fire 'go' yet. He said in his journal that they have about 70 or so artists signed up, which is unbelievably amazing in and of itself, but the problem is that we're still in need more. The goal is for there to be one artists per child, and it being such a premier hospital and dedicated to children we need some more artists who are dedicated to doing this. The journal said if there's about 100 artists the director of the hospital will give the project the 'Okay' it's looking for.
There will be no prizes for artists, no monetary rewards, or any acknowledgement of 'winning' anything. This is not a contest, but a charity and a chance to do something very special for a sick child for christmas.
I know that there aren't many people on my watch list, but those few that are please, especially you bums in college, spread the word. I don't think this is just for people on DA. ok? So Sammy, get the word out down there in Morrisville!! I have signed up and i am ready to rock'n'roll!
